Lalit Agrawal, CEO
Lalit Agrawal is an ex-Microsoft employee where he served as a Senior Consultant providing software design, best practices, development and testing guidance to several organizations. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Masters degree in Computer Science. He has a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from one of the most affluent school in India . He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Database Administrator.
He worked as the Director of Information Systems for a management consulting firm for about 6 years after his graduation. He started his first consulting company in USA in 1997. Between 1997 and 2000, he had the opportunity to lead a number of projects at various companies in Cincinnati , OH and Montreal , Canada . In the year 2000, he joined Microsoft Consulting Services in Cincinnati . While at Microsoft, he consulted with companies like Cinergy, Convergys, Kroger and Reynolds & Reynolds. He also represented Microsoft at one of the biggest System Integrators in India as the Partner Strategy Consultant.
Lalit wanted to take advantage of the pool of highly talented individuals in India in delivering high quality services to companies in North America . In the many years of working as a consultant, he had mastered the art of providing optimal IT services to his customers. So in 2003, he started SofRa Software Solutions in Bangalore , India , the city that is called the Silicon Valley of India.
